OBJECTIVES:
The program objective is to prepare bachelors and masters with fundamental physics knowledge and experimental skills in the development and research of photonic materials, as well as the formation of nanostructures based on them. The area of professional activity of graduates is the creation of the element base of semiconductor microwave integrated photonics within the framework of the Consortium for the Development of Microwave Photonics, Optical and Quantum Computers, Optical Artificial Intelligence Systems, Computer Photonics Devices and Systems.


LEARNING OUTCOMES:
➢ skills in obtaining and subsequent investigation of photonic structures;
➢ the ability to create photonic integrated circuits, including lasers, photodetectors, modulators, etc., as well as integration with microwave components (from units to hundreds of GHz).
