The main goals of INTEL in the field of international cooperation are integration into the world scientific and educational space and attracting leading foreign scientists from partner universities through the creation of new laboratories, training courses, joint research, conferences, webinars, internships, etc. The key international partners of the Institute of Nanotechnology in Electronics, Spintronics and Photonics of National Research Nuclear University MEPhI will be:

Purdue University (USA). Leading scientists of the School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University will take part in the Strategic Academic Unit (StrAU) international project «Development of quantum information transfer technologies and quantum memory registers» and Professor Zinetula Insepov leads the direction of ion-cluster technologies at NESPI.

Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). Together with the specialists of the Center for Micro- and Nanotechnology in Electronics NTU, it is planned to carry out a research project «Development of breakthrough technologies for creating new-generation devices for power electronics, microwave, optoelectronics and sensors based on AIIIN / graphene / silicon heterostructures». As a result of the project, it is possible to take a leading position in the field of microwave electronics technology based on 2D nanostructures - the element base of future microwave electronic devices.

University of Southern California (USA). Scientific cooperation is planned in the field of nanophotonics, as well as in the field of physics and technology of group III nitrides.

Hangzhou Dianzi University (China). The purpose of cooperation with Dianji University (Electronics) in Hangzhou is to develop a joint educational program «Nanostructure and Functional Electronics (Masters)» with double degrees, as well as joint development of power and microwave devices for various purposes on silicon substrates using nanoscale buffer layers. Employees of the School of Electronics and Informatics HDU, one of the University’s oldest and most prestigious schools, will directly participate in the project.

Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics BSUIR. Together with BSUIR in the field of education, it is planned to develop and implement a joint master's program «Physics and Technology of New Carbon Nanomaterials and Devices Based on It». The purpose of the program is to prepare the graduate for research and production activities in the field of technologies for new low-dimensional materials - graphene and its derivatives, carbon nanotubes, van der Waals materials. In the field of scientific research, the specialists of the Department of Micro- and Nanoelectronics of BSUIR will take part in the research work «Development of breakthrough technologies for creating new generation devices for power electronics, microwave, optoelectronics and sensors based on AIIIN / graphene / silicon heterostructures».

In addition to these partners, StrAU plans to develop active cooperation in the field of science and education with the following universities and major research centers: Rochester Institute of Technology (USA), University of Southamptone (Great Britain), Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), University of Twente (Netherlands), RWTH Aachen University (Germany); Tsinghua University (China), Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanova NAS of Belarus and others.
