Open Day 2019 nanoengineering in electronics, spintronics and photonics electronics and photonics institute NRNU MEPHI
On February 10, high school students welcomed the Institute of Nanoengineering in Electronics, Spintronics and photonics Institute NESPI. Director NESPI N.I. Kargin in his speech noted the features of training at the institute, spoke about the technological equipment, employers and partners. “NESPI is a kind of symbiosis that unites interdisciplinary areas of physics, mathematics, and chemistry. At our institute you will receive not only basic education, which will allow you to navigate in life, but also learn how to work, starting with mastering technologies and ending with real prototype samples, ”emphasized Nikolai Ivanovich. The main areas of work of NESPI are specialized electronics for industrial applications; electronics based on new physical principles: quantum, terahertz, photonics, spintronics; devices and materials microwave electronics. In order to meet the global challenges that exist in the world, it is necessary to solve quite complex tasks related to energy, import substitution, health and safety. We need new technologies, physical principles and approaches. To perform such tasks at the institute, there is a unique laboratory base of the Nanocenter, the Engineering Center, international laboratories where they are involved in promising devices, a new architecture of electronic components, the use of new materials for faster and more compact instruments. «Read more»10.02.2019 -
