The structure of the Institute is formed on the basis of scientific and educational Centers in strategic areas of research and development, as well as methodological associations-departments around the key educational programs implemented in NESPI.

NESPI competence Centers:

1) center of Photonics and quantum technologies;

2) center of materials and technologies of electronics on new physical principles;

3) center for extreme applied electronics;

4) center of nanomechanical systems and sensors;

5) microprocessor systems Engineering center;

6) center for collective use "Heterostructural microwave electronics and physics of wide-bandgap semiconductors".

Research laboratories, including laboratories with international participation, operate in the structure of the Centres:

1) international research laboratory of advanced devices and technologies of microwave electronics based on 2D nanostructures;

2) international research laboratory of ion-cluster technologies;

3) international research laboratory of hybrid nanosystems and composites;

4) international research laboratory for design of specialized integrated circuits;

5) international research laboratory "Organic electronics";

6) international research laboratory "Control of beams of neutral and charged particles";

7) international research laboratory "Engineering of nanoelectromechanical systems and sensors";

8) international research laboratory "Terahertz nanophotonics";

9) international research laboratory "Nanodiperse and ion-cluster systems";

10) international research laboratory "Radiation of charged particle".

To manage the educational laboratories of the Institute operates the Department of educational activities.
